How to Register
Every traditional medicine practitioners residing and practicing in Oyo state, Nigeria, such as Herbal Medicine Producers and Healers, Bone Setters, Traditional Birth Attendants, Traditional Medicine Ingredients Sellers, Traditional Medicine Surgeons, Traditional Medicine Psychiatrists, Diviners and Faith Healers, etc. shall register as member of NANTMP
Members must agree to always act in accordance with the law, abide by the NANTMP Ethics of Practice, adopt the NANTMP Advertising Code and act in a professional manner.
Categories of Members
There are 6 categories of memberships:
AFFILIATE MEMBERS
This shall consist mainly of health shop proprietors, non-physicians involved in the Natural Health Trade, supporters of a natural medicine, members of relevant pressure groups and members of professions supplement to medicine, health workers, traditional birth attendants, traditional healers and spiritualist, herbal sellers and hawkers. ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION IS ₦10,000
ASSOCIATE MEMBERS
This shall consist of Natural Health Practitioners with a minimum of West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE), National Examination Council (NECO), GCE, Ordinary Level who have trained in Natural medicine and are involved in full time practice for up to five years. Evidence of training certificates and diplomas must be presented for scrutiny. ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION IS ₦15,000
FULL MEMBERS
Qualified doctors with relevant university education, degrees and professional diploma in any aspect of Natural Medicine, Allopathic doctors with an interest in Natural Medicine, Physiotherapists, Dentists, Pharmacists, Medical Laboratory scientists etc can be listed members subject to the approval of the Executive Council. ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION IS ₦20,000
FELLOWSHIP MEMBERS
This is a special honor bestowed on well established Physicians in Natural Medicine, based on contributions through long services to humanity, research findings, inventions and innovations, scientific discoveries and breakthrough, distinguished and exemplary practice in Natural Medicine. ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION IS ₦25,000
MERIT AWARD/HONORARY FELLOWSHIP MEMBERS
This is awarded to deserving members of the lay public as identified on recommendation by members. Nomination of Honorary Fellowship must be backed with full curriculum vitae on the achievement of the nominee in terms of qualification and services to humanity. An Honorary Fellowship is equivalent to Honorary Doctorate (Doctor of Natural Science). This award must be subject to approval of entire membership. Only a few individuals will be selected from time to time and bestowed this high honour of our Honorable Member. ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION IS ₦30,000
CORPORATE MEMBERS
This shall be awarded to corporate organisations, clinic, schools and institutions.. ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION IS ₦35,000
